Over the river and to the Grandparents house

The summer has come and with it the wonderful drive through the mountains to the grandparents house. They live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Our first night, we were going to watch a movie, but the power went out. We lite candles and talked, and it turned into a wonderful evening, with some of most favorite people. Traditions die hard in our family. Every Friday looks the same for my Grandmother, she goes to the grocery store and to all of her fun resell stores, and my mother, sister and myself went along. (and yes I completely love them!) That was an enjoyable day and short weekend! Of course you can never spend to much time at the Grandparents house.

Starting off1

I have decided to have a blog, so that friends and family  would know what I am doing while off at college.I have graduated from high school, and I am now officially a college student! I couldn't believe that the day finally arrived when I received my diploma. So here I am about to embark on the next stage of my life, college. And I want to write about my experience!
